Morning Flight to Tel Aviv. Arrival at Tel Aviv airport, boarding the coaches and departure for Jerusalem. On the way short pilgrimage at the Holy Monastery of Saint Georgios in Lydda. Arrival in Jerusalem and check-in at the hotel.
Following, a short pilgrimage to the All-Holy church of the Resurrection (Horrendous Golgotha, Holy Deposition Stone, Holy Sepulchre, Chapel of the Holy Cross, etc.).
17:00 Hrs. – Attendance of the Service of the Γ’ Salutations to the Most Holy Theotokos, at the All-Holy church of the Resurrection. Dinner and overnight at the hotel.
Morning visit to the area of Bethlehem. Cave of the Nativity, cave of the infants, shepherds’ village, Holy Monastery of St. Theodosius the Cenobiarch and the Lavra(Monastery) of St. Savvas the Sanctified. Return to Jerusalem and visits to the path of Martyrdom and to Gethsemane. Rest of the day at leisure.
SUNDAY OF THE ADORATION OF THE CROSS
Attendance of the Formal Divine Liturgy at the All-Holy church of the Resurrection presided by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem THEOFILOS III, followed by a visit to the reception hall of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem. In the afternoon visits to the Hill of Zion, as well as to the Mount of Olives.
Full day visit to the area of Jericho. Holy Monastery of Hozeva, St. Holy Monastery of St. Gerasimos the Jordanite, Jordan River (Blessing of the waters “Hagiasmos” for the blessing of the pilgrims), Holy Monastery of Prophet Elisha and Mount of Temptation. Return to Jerusalem. Rest of the day at leisure.
NATIONAL DAY 25th March
10:00 Hrs. – Attendance of the Doxology at the All-Holy church of the Resurrection, presided by His Beatitude the Patriarch of Jerusalem THEOFILOS III, for the celebration of the National anniversary of March 25, 1821. Visit to the reception hall of the Greek Orthodox Patriarchate of Jerusalem and free time in Jerusalem.
13:00 Hrs. – Departure with luggage for Tel Aviv airport. On the way visits to the new city of Jerusalem(Monasteries of the Holy Cross and Saint Symeon the God-Receiver) and passage from Ein Karem. Afternoon Flight to Athens.
